Boundless Immersive
Construction & Infrastructure

On a site, there is no room to learn the hard way.

We help construction and infrastructure teams set the standard, induct the workforce, and train for the risks, so everyone knows exactly what to do before they reach the gate.

Construction and infrastructure is a safety-first business, and the hard part is not writing the standards, it is getting them to land.

Method statements, inductions, and toolbox talks live in PDFs and briefings that people skim, forget, or never see, and the gap between what is written and what is understood is where incidents happen. We close that gap by making safety something people experience, not something they sign.

How we help

We work across the lifecycle, from the standard to the site to the lessons learned. Here is where we help, and the problem we are solving in each place.

Visual Standards
01

Visual Standards.

The challenge

Your standards are only as good as the people who follow them, and most standards live in documents nobody reads. A method statement is a PDF skimmed once, interpreted differently on every site, with no way of knowing who has actually seen it. The distance between what the standard says and what the team understands is exactly where things go wrong.

How we help

We replace the static document with an interactive 3D scene of the job itself, so the team sees precisely how the work should be done before they do it, with the detail, the controls, and the hazards pinned exactly where they belong. Knowledge checks confirm understanding, and you can see who has engaged and who has not, in one live, versioned source of truth. We have built this into a product, Visual Standards, used across rail, water, and civils.

The result, with Murphy

Murphy rolled Visual Standards out across their sites.

  • [XX%] workforce adoption across Murphy sites
  • [XX%] reduction in lost-time injury rate since launch
  • [XX%] reduction in high-potential incidents
Interactive site induction on a mobile device
Induct360

Interactive site inductions.

The challenge

Sites turn over constantly: new crews, subcontractors, and visitors arriving all the time, each needing to understand the place before they step onto it. Done in a cabin against the clock, inductions are rushed, inconsistent, and easily forgotten, and you are relying on a signature rather than real understanding.

How we help

We build interactive inductions from a real capture of the site, so people arrive already knowing the layout, the hazards, and the rules, in any language, on any device, completed before they reach the gate. Completion is tracked, so you know everyone is genuinely ready, not just signed in. We have built this into a product, Induct360.

Operative rehearsing a high-risk task in VR
Immersive safety training
03

Immersive safety training.

The challenge

The most dangerous tasks are the ones you can least afford to practise on a live site. Working near buried services, at height, around plant, or in a confined space leaves no room for a first attempt, and a classroom cannot prepare anyone for the real thing.

How we help

We build VR training that lets people rehearse the high-risk task safely, as many times as they need, until the right actions are second nature. One example is training operatives on CAT and Genny to locate buried services before they dig, but the same approach covers working at height, plant, and confined spaces, wherever practising for real is too dangerous or too costly.

Hazard perception
04

Hazard perception and behavioural safety.

The challenge

Spotting a hazard, or an unsafe habit, is a skill, and it is one of the hardest things to teach from a slide. People do not become better at seeing risk by being told it exists; they have to practise noticing it.

How we help

We build an augmented reality hazard-perception app, used in groups, that turns spotting risk into active practice, and 360 video of real sites that trains people to recognise the behavioural hazards a static image would never show. Both build the instinct to see danger before it becomes an incident.

Incident animations.

The challenge

When something goes wrong on site, the lesson has to reach the whole business fast and clearly, or the same thing happens again somewhere else. A written report does not travel, photographs can be distressing or unclear, and the detail of what actually happened gets lost in the retelling.

How we help

We turn an incident into a short, accurate animation that shows exactly what happened, why, and how to stop it happening again. It communicates the lesson quickly and memorably across every site, without graphic footage and without singling anyone out, so a hard-won lesson is learned once and shared everywhere.

AI avatar training
06

AI avatar training.

The challenge

The hardest moments on site are conversations: challenging unsafe behaviour, raising a near miss, or a supervisor briefing a crew under pressure. They are exactly what a distributed workforce across many sites and regions cannot practise at scale, and knowledge gaps stay invisible until they show up as an incident.

How we help

We build training modules with AI avatars people can talk to: a colleague to challenge, a briefing to deliver, with the avatar responding like a real person, rehearsed as many times as needed. Behind it sits a reporting dashboard, so managers see how their teams are performing and where the gaps are, and leadership gets a view across sites and regions, to put support exactly where it is needed.
