Site induction eLearning

Alliance needed a site induction that did more than tick a box. The brief was to give every worker a genuine feel for the site and its specific hazards before their first day on it, delivered through the systems the business already runs.

The challenge

Across construction, site inductions are still mostly slides read out in a cabin. The information is generic, engagement is low, and workers arrive on site without a real picture of where the hazards actually are.

Alliance recognised the gap and came to us wanting an induction built around the site itself, not a template.

What we built

We combined three elements into a single module. A 360 tour of the live site lets workers look around the actual environment they will be working in. CGI safety animations then walk through the site's key risk scenarios: excavation works, working around buried services, delivery vehicles, and the interface between plant and people.

The whole module is packaged as SCORM and integrated with Alliance's LMS, so inductions are delivered, tracked, and recorded through the system the business already uses. The animations were signed off in December 2025 and the module went into the LMS in March 2026.
